Gavyaveda began as a dream of bringing nature back into everyday skincare routines. handmade soaps!

We don’t see ourselves simply as soap manufacturers; rather, we are entrepreneurs who, with unwavering conviction, know the impact of natural, handmade goods.

Our objective is straightforward, yet magnificent in its scale — to produce handmade soaps that do not contain any harsh chemicals and are gentle for the skin, as well as the environment.

The Birth of Gavyaveda handmade Soaps

Everything starts with a problem to be solved. A question in our mind was, why should taking care of one’s skin actively harm their health or the balance of the ecosystem?

We were set on Gavyaveda because of inspirations from ancient Indian wisdom and Ayurveda. That is why and how we set out to make soaps using age old techniques and methods.

At first, we began with vital oils, herbal medicine, and oils like essential and cold-pressed oil. We blended these into herbal medicine and cow products to see if we could make holistic skincare.

The perfect blend that genty cleanses and nourishes the skin is still being perfected via numerous trials and testing.

In our view, Gavyaveda soaps portray the blend of honesty and authenticity in skincare, a result of relentless pursuit of enduring care.

Every bar of Gavyaveda soaps is made from raw natural constituents. Each bar undergoes passion and attention itself. Ethically sourced and blended together, the outcome is truly astounding.

Each bar of soap goes through a lengthy process of being carefully hand-crafted and is not produced through automation or by using machines.

As with each bar we produce, the oils are poured into a mold before they're cured for weeks. This ensures that the natural elements within the bar are preserved as we make sure to employ the 'cold process'.

Because of employing the cold process, the soap is made with glycerin, a humectant responsible for keeping the skin hydrated and smooth naturally.

As the process for crafting the soap is thorough done by hand, every single bar is distinct as are the people who will be using it.

What Makes Gavyaveda Handmade Soaps Unique?

At Gavyaveda, we don't just sell soap. We sell a carefully crafted blend of wellness, beauty, and most importantly, tradition poured into one bar.

A2 cow ghee, coconut oil, castor oil, mustard oil, aloe vera, tulsi, neem, haldi, and even rose petals are carefully blended and used along with other ayurvedic herbs, allowing us to finesse the texture and quality of the bar.

A generous 4-6 weeks of curing is set aside to ensure the skin and soap reap the most benefits during use, and in turn, are provided with a rich lather.

Gavyaveda goes the extra step by ensuring that regardless of skin types such as oily, dry, or sensitive, we are prepared with the suitable crafted bar that caters to individual skincare needs.

Our manufacturing process is made as sustainable as possible. We strive to use the sun’s solar energy with minimal water usage during the production of our soaps.

We use flowers and herbs that are grown or sourced from certified organic and sustainable farms.
